You've tried the checklists. Nothing changed. Here's why — and what actually works.
🔴 Live, not self-paced: 4 weekly Zoom sessions, 90-120 minutes each
🔴 Small group: Max 12 participants
🔴 Facilitated dialogue: No lectures. No passive listening.
🔴 No recordings: What's shared in the circle stays in the circle. Your presence matters.
You've done the trainings. You know the terminology. You have the checklists.
And nothing changed.
Here's why: most anti-oppression work starts in the wrong place. It gives you tools without the story. You learn about implicit bias without learning about colonialism. You learn about microaggressions without learning about thingification. You learn about inclusive language without learning about Orientalism.
Auntie-Ology: The Operating Manual is different. History first. Theory heavy. No checklists. Just the real story.
Dates: Sundays — May 3, 17, 24, 31 (4 sessions)
Time: 11:00 AM ADT
Format: Live Zoom (90-120 minutes per session)
Recordings: Not offered. The container is live and confidential.
Note: No session on May 10 (Mother's Day)

Week 1: The Blueprints — How Systems Made Us
Concepts: Colonialism, settler colonialism, Orientalism, thingification
Week 2: The Engine — Racial Capitalism & White Supremacy Culture
Concepts: Racial capitalism, white supremacy culture, urgency as colonial logic
Week 3: Your Position — Where Do You Stand?
Concepts: Positionality, complicity, white gaze, solidarity vs. allyship
Week 4: The Alternative — What Are We Building?
Concepts: Radical imagination, emergent strategy, rest as resistance
Each week: Choose one of three theorists. Read a short excerpt (20-30 minutes). Then join the live dialogue.
You will not leave with a checklist.
You will leave with:
A way of seeing — colonialism, racial capitalism, and white supremacy as living systems you can now name
The Four Questions — a discernment framework for any decision, any context
A glossary — concepts that used to feel inaccessible now feel like tools
Discernment — the capacity to see patterns and make ethical choices when no formula applies
This series is for you if:
You've done the trainings, learned the terminology, and still feel like something is missing
You're hungry for the deep history and theory that most anti-racism work avoids
You're willing to read 20-30 minutes per week and sit with difficult ideas
You want discernment, not checklists
⚠️ This series is not for you if:
You're looking for quick fixes or practical tools you can apply on Monday
You're not ready to sit with discomfort, including your own complicity
You want to start with your daily challenges rather than the historical context
You cannot attend live sessions
