Cultivate Your Values. Challenge Oppression. Grow Community.

Welcome to Seed Room Consulting, where every seed—every idea, effort, and value—is planted to grow liberation, nurture justice, and challenge oppression. We guide organizations and individuals to cultivate their strengths, take root in their values, and flourish in ways that create lasting, transformative change for people and communities alike. Rooted in spiritual traditions, we believe even the smallest seed can grow into sustainable change.

OUR VISION

Building Belonging, Centering Justice

We envision a world where racialized, Black, Indigenous, 2SLGBTQIA+, disabled, and all peoples with lived and living experience of oppression are centered, not just included. Where homes, neighbourhoods, and institutions become spaces of genuine belonging. Where wellbeing is as natural as breathing.

We plant seeds in hearts, minds, policies, relationships, and systems, some blooming now, others taking root for generations. Through relationship-building, education, research, and consulting, we nurture collective transformation and honour the sacred worth of every human being.

WORK WITH US

Growing Liberation

Liberation isn't given; it's grown. It takes root when leaders confront their own complicity. When organizations rewrite exclusionary policies. When someone finds language for their experience and realizes they are not alone. When communities move from tokenism to genuine power-sharing. We collaborate with communities, organizations, institutions, and individuals committed to equity and transformation. These include:

Community Organizations

Non-profits examining their power, privilege, and impact.

Public Institutions

Schools, universities, and service systems reimagining learning, care, and accountability.

Government & Policy Bodies

Teams centering marginalized voices in decision-making.

Businesses & Social Enterprises

Translating inclusive values into meaningful action.

Individuals & Leaders

People modeling the change they want to see in a safer and more just world.

Grassroots & Collective Initiatives

Community groups building safer, more just communities from the ground up.

What does it mean to grow liberation?

We work with schools learning to become anti-racist institutions. With non-profits examining their own power and privilege. With government bodies seeking to genuinely center marginalized voices. With businesses trying to move beyond diversity statements to transformative culture change. And with individuals who are hungry for equity literacy, personal growth, and the courage to show up differently in the world.

We work with organizations, communities, and individuals who are ready to move beyond performative commitments to equity—those willing to do the deep, sometimes uncomfortable work of examining power, shifting culture, and reimagining what's possible.

For us liberation is creating the conditions for people and systems to shed oppressive patterns and embody equity, dignity, and justice. Liberation grows when a leader confronts their own complicity. When an organization rewrites policies that were once excluded. When one finds language for their experience and realizes they are not alone. When a community moves from tokenism to genuine power-sharing.

Liberation is both personal and collective. It happens in the quiet moments of individual reckoning and in the bold restructuring of entire systems. It requires raising critical consciousness - helping people see how power operates, how oppression is reproduced, and how each of us is implicated - while simultaneously building new relationships, practices, policies that embody justice.
